Traditionally when a property sells (closes escrow) commissions of six percent (6%) are calculated on property value and taken from the seller’s side of the transaction, to be split (usually three percent each) between the agent who listed the property, (seller’s agent) and the agent who brought the buyer to the transaction (buyer’s agent).
